04-04-2023 Voorschoten King Willem-Alexander visited the area of the train accident which happened around 4:30 this morning with about 50 passengers near Voorschoten.
A BAM employee died and 19 (serious) injuries were reported.
Both a passenger train and a freight train collided with a BAM construction crane, causing enormous damage.
Maintenance work took place on two of the four tracks near Voorschoten last night.
